About Taoist abstinence issues

I quite agree with Qing Yude’s statement

Everything has a way, and the interlocking of the ways is called fate. ,

Since mortals have seven emotions and six desires, they must be experienced in the Tao. Although ascetics believe that they should be abstinent because they are not contaminated with the world of mortals and can cultivate the Tao wholeheartedly, but on the contrary, what is the purpose of cultivating the Tao?

It is to reach a higher state of mind, not to ascend to immortality.

You have to put in a lot of hardships and training, and not enter the mortal world. You can feel the emotions and realize your own way, and that is called attaining the way.

If a Taoist is unable to grasp the seven emotions and six desires, how can he achieve immortality? It is just because his mind is not correct and his will is not firm, and thus he falls short of success.
