Self-compassion

Sometimes, what we really need in life is compassion and understanding. Self-compassion is an important psychological skill we can develop. Self-compassion is the art of nourishing ourselves.

People often criticize themselves, and everyone does it. When we feel disappointed with ourselves, we often jump to conclusions: Is there something wrong with me?

We look for reasons instead of acknowledging our feelings, as if we must find an explanation for our sadness in the mistakes that need to be corrected before we can feel better inside.

It does us no good, everyone needs love and kindness. However, the first person to give us love and kindness must be ourselves.

When we are mindful of our feelings and respond with compassion and compassion, they are far less likely to cause us distress.

Each of us wants love, but we must remember that in our lives, it is ourselves who can accompany us from the beginning to the end, from the beginning to the last moment.
