How to become a home improvement interior designer from scratch?

I think that's what most people think when they choose to work in this industry. They think it must be an interesting, free, decent and well-paid industry.

But what is the truth? Especially in home improvement, I remember I especially liked the program Exchange Space a long time ago. At that time, I was only a teenager and didn't understand this industry. I just think it's amazing to design the house so beautifully, with short time and low price.

Then talk about my practical experience in this industry for two years. When I first started as an assistant, my boss asked me to make an affordable and beautiful plan, but how do I know what materials are affordable? All I know is that this plan is beautiful, and I like it. As a result, the price of materials used is too high and the process is complex, which is unacceptable to customers.

After more than a year, when I started to be a designer, I knew what the most affordable solution was. My clients are all working-class. Many of them have to pay off their mortgage after buying a house. They don't understand the price gap of different styles in decoration. They only know that a certain style on the Internet looks good, and so will my family. They also look at communication space and think that decoration is a simple matter. They always have a beautiful fantasy before decorating, but when it comes to budget, they only choose to spend tens of thousands of dollars.

I also hope that the customer's home is beautifully decorated, but there is no money to invest in light and hard clothes, and the soft clothes in the later period are the second best, which makes the home very simple after decoration. I can only say "simple". When designing a scheme, the designer first considers the customer's budget. If he doesn't have that much money, the design is useless and the list can't be signed, which leads many designers to become unlike designers. Because there are too few people who can really afford the design, and there are also too few middle and high-end customers. Most of them are ordinary people and don't have much money to decorate their homes. "Money" is the chief culprit limiting design. In order to sign the bill, the designer has to add a little design element on the basis of controlling the cost.

I was really disappointed when I really discovered the market situation. This is not what I want, but I have to accept it. That is the reality.
