When we were studying, we studied three majors together, product, environmental art, and graphics.

First of all, this advertising design. Advertising is just a flat surface. The industry has long been saturated. Moreover, it is relatively easy to get into this industry. Many people think that as long as they know software, they can do graphic design. I think it’s better not to learn this industry, because if you study design yourself, no matter what kind of design it is, you will definitely be involved in graphic design. There is no need to study it specifically, because the technical content is relatively low. Overall, the salary level is also the lowest.

Indoor. landscape. It is tiring to learn, as you have to go to the material market and so on. Indoor is also more complicated, but compared to the flat surface, the technical content will be much higher. It is also difficult for most people to change their career. Although this industry has been around for a long time, it should be pretty good now.

Products. It should be the one with the most development potential among the three industries. Because now the state supports it, just like animation. More and more companies understand the importance of industrial design. However, this industry is relatively regional. It is generally found in developed areas such as the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta. In general, the industry has not yet formed a certain scale. Several of my classmates who work in product development in Shanghai are doing quite well, with a monthly salary of about 7.8 thousand. You can earn more in the future.

My opinion is that you can choose between indoor and product. However, there are more boys working on products, and some companies even specify that they want men, haha.
