Baoguang Pagoda is located on the Jianjiang River in the southwest of Gaozhou City, Guangdong Province. It was built in the fourth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1576). The tower is an octagonal nine-story pavilion-style brick tower with a total height of 65.8 meters and a bottom length of 5.72 meters. The tower is built entirely of blue bricks.
