"Sun Bin" comes from Sima Qian's Historical Records, in which there is a description:

Sun Bin tried to learn the art of war from Pang Juan. Pang Juan, who was in charge of Wei, thought he was inferior to Sun Bin. It was Yin who called Sun Bin. At present, Pang Juan is afraid of being virtuous. Once he gets sick, his beautiful feet will be cut off by law and punishment, so he wants to hide.

Sun Bin once studied Sun Tzu's Art of War with Pang Juan. Although Pang Juan once worked for Wei and was a general, he thought his talent was inferior to that of Sun Bin, so he secretly sent someone to invite Sun Bin. When Sun Bin arrived in Wei, Pang Juan was afraid that he was more talented than himself and jealous of him, so he fabricated charges, cut off his kneecap with punishment according to law, and tattooed words on his face, hoping that Sun Bin would never appear in front of people again in this life.
