A large number of Chinese tallow trees have been planted in and around the village entrance. Besides, the ancient trees in the village are towering, and the forests in Shan Ye are gorgeous. Compared with the surrounding world cultural heritage Hongcun and Xidi Ancient Village, the original Tachuan is not famous, but an ordinary mountain village that Hongcun passed on the way to Huangshan Mountain. It is the photographer's photos that show it to people and attract today's popularity.

The key tree species in Tachuan is Sapium sebiferum. Its leaves are redder than maple, but they are not all red at once. After the first frost solar term, the gradual change process begins. Different ages of trees in the village lead to different discoloration time of leaves, different geographical locations of trees lead to different sunshine exposure time, and the sunshine exposure time of the sunny side and the shady side of the same tree is also very different, so the time of changing from green to yellow or from green to red is different between different leaves of trees, so the final defoliation time is different. When enjoying autumn scenery in Tachuan, the most suitable time is in the morning. Tachuan is located in the valley. Early in the morning, shrouded in fog. Looking from a distance, it is filled with thin clouds, like a continuous white gauze wrapped between ancient buildings and trees with white walls and tiles. A thin mist hung over the trees, as if there was nothing. The farmhouse is looming, and the cornices are suddenly exposed in the red maple bushes. White walls and tiles, hidden by gold leaves, are as poetic as China landscape paintings.

The unique natural environment and different tree species make this ancient wood at the entrance of the village have different shapes, some of which go straight into the sky like a sword; Some are like corollas, covered with the earth; Some are like giant buddhas with thousands of hands, with countless giant arms reaching into the sky, as if to peck at the stars and clouds in the sky.

Along the road around the village, you come to the entrance of the village in front of Gaoba, and you are greeted by several huge ancient trees, such as camphor, torreya grandis and maple. This is the first scene in Tachuan, "Five Trees Reach the Sky". After hundreds of years of towering ancient trees, each one is a mottled tree body embraced by several people, as if telling people the vicissitudes of Tachuan Village. Go through the ancient forest, walk down the stone steps of Qingxi and enter Tachuan Village. Like the common villages in Anhui, Tachuan's folk houses have strong Huizhou characteristics. Walking in the village, you can not only enjoy the simple and pure life fun of the villagers in the mountains, but also enjoy the wonderful landscapes such as "the front house around the stream", "birds singing on Zhushan Mountain" and "Tachuan Cave".
