The summer before last, the teacher assigned us to read a classic book on Chinese studies, including many classic works by famous people. What impressed me the most was Wang Changling's ancient poem Join the Army.

The poem goes like this: Qinghai has long clouds and dark snow-capped mountains, and the lonely city looks at Yumenguan. Yellow sand wears golden armor in hundreds of battles, but the loulan is not returned. What a magnificent picture this is! Under the snow-capped mountains, in front of the city and on the yellow sand, armored soldiers fought bloody battles, drums rang and colorful flags hunted. It is conceivable how much the soldiers miss home. Although they can't see their families and the environment is so bad, they still have high morale and do their best. Because they have a motherland in their hearts and a home in their hearts. They have experienced hundreds of battles, worn out their armor, blunted their weapons, and struggled with death every time! What a noble spirit and great patriotic feelings!

We should learn from their indomitable spirit, their patriotic feelings of sacrificing one family and benefiting thousands of families, turn this spirit into the motivation of learning, enrich our minds with hard work, create the future with knowledge and serve the motherland.
