Huang Chao's poems

It means:? My heart is in Shandong, my body is in Wu, and I am floating on the sea. When she was young, Ling dared to laugh at Huang Chao's husband. It means that although I served my sentence in Wudi (Jiangzhou), my heart is in Shandong (Liangshan). Wandering in rivers and lakes, I often lament the wasted years. If I realize my great ambition in the future, I can laugh at Huang Chao's behavior, which is not what a gentleman does.

This is Huang Chao's inspirational poem. Teenagers are determined to learn and eventually achieve great things. Shandong refers to the vast area east of Tongguan, which naturally includes today's Shandong provinces and regions. In the Northern Song Dynasty, it had the status of Wu, that is, Soochow, one of the three kingdoms in the world. Later generations took this opportunity to say that "the body is there, and the heart is in Han". Explain that a person is ambitious, not seeking temporary gains and losses, sharing weal and woe. Those who achieve great things, keep a low profile, aim high and be calm. ?

This poem was written by Song Jiang on the wall of the private room on the second floor of Xunyanglou Restaurant in Jiangzhou. Please refer to episode 24 of 98 CCTV Water Margin.

Huang Chao Uprising refers to the uprising led by Huang Chao from the fifth year of Ganfu (878) to the fourth year of Zhonghe (884), which is the follow-up of Wang Xianzhi Uprising. It was also a peasant uprising with the longest duration, the largest spread and the most far-reaching influence in the late Tang Dynasty. Huang Chao's chaos hit nearly half of the Tang Dynasty, which led to the great decline of national strength in the last years of the Tang Dynasty.

Huang Chao Uprising, by means of mobile warfare, spread all over the vast areas of Shandong, Henan, Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Shaanxi and other provinces, which shook the rule of the Tang Dynasty. However, due to long-term mobile operations, no stable rear, lack of economic security and mass base, it was difficult to last, and the rebels eventually failed.

Huang Chao, a peasant rebel, surrounded Zhou Chen for nearly a year on the eve of his defeat, crushed the living by mechanization, and supplied his besieged troops with human flesh as rations to ensure the fighting capacity of his rebel army, creating an unprecedented record of cannibalism.

This appalling cannibalism record is the highest in China and probably the highest in the world. According to history textbooks, Huang Chao was the leader of the peasant revolution, and the peasant uprising led by Huang Chao was an act of overthrowing feudal rule, which was of revolutionary and progressive significance. There is no doubt about it.

However, judging from the dichotomy advocated by Mao Zedong, compared with him, the revolutionary leader's means of poisoning ordinary people in the non-ruling class is far behind and candidly admit defeat. In a "Twenty-four History", only he can use the word "sucking the marrow" to describe his cannibalism.
