What medicine is best for chilblain?

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that chilblain is mainly caused by cold, which is caused by yang deficiency, yang qi inhibiting coagulation, meridian block and poor blood circulation. The treatment method should be warming and dispelling cold, and the traditional Chinese medicine of warming yang and dredging collaterals, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, with good effect.

Treatment 1: 25g of camphor, 0/0g of cuttlebone/kloc-0 and 0/50g of vaseline/kloc-0 were mixed into paste and applied externally to the ulcer surface. For stubborn chilblain, you can take Chinese medicine orally. The prescription is: 9 g of Radix Codonopsis, 6 g of Radix Astragali 15 g, Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata (decocted first), 9 g of Ramulus Cinnamomi, 9 g of Radix Angelicae Sinensis, 9 g of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, 6 g of Pericarpium Citri Tangerinae, 6 g of Zingiberis Rhizoma and 6 g of Radix Glycyrrhizae, with obvious cold; 9g of peach kernel and 9 g of safflower are added for patients with obvious blood stasis syndrome.

Treatment 2: Take Angelica sinensis 12g, Ramulus Cinnamomi 12g, Herba Epimedii 12g, Curcuma longa 12g, Herba Asari 9g, and Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens (below), and decoct with water, once a day 1 dose. According to the syndrome, add 6g of Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata (decocted first), 9g of Radix Morindae Officinalis and 9 g of cornu Cervi Degelatinatum for those who are afraid of cold; Codonopsis pilosula 12g and Astragalus membranaceus12g are added for patients with deficiency of both qi and blood; Radix Ampelopsis 12g, Cortex Cinnamomi 6g, and Radix Astragali 6g are added for patients with chilblain ulceration.

Treatment 3: Radix Astragali 15g, Radix Angelicae Sinensis 15g, Rhizoma Chuanxiong 12g, Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae 15g, Fructus Evodiae 12g, 4 slices of ginger (bottom), Radix Paeoniae Rubra 12g and Caulis Spatholobi 650. This prescription is suitable for those with dull complexion, listlessness, weakness of limbs, shortness of breath, laziness in speaking, cold hands and feet, pale tongue with thin white fur and floating pulse, and those with blisters, ulceration and bleeding in the affected area. When cold, it will aggravate itching and pain.

Treatment 4: Take Arnebia euchroma 100g and Phragmites australis 100g, add water 1500ml, decoct to 1000ml, filter out the decoction, and let it cool naturally until it doesn't feel hot. Soak the affected area 3-4 times a day.

Treatment 5: Take 100g of winter melon peel, 20g of pepper and 20g of cinnamon, add water 1500ml, and fry until 1200ml. When the water temperature naturally drops to a level that is not too hot, soak the affected area 3-4 times a day.

Treatment 6: Take 30 grams of Carthamus tinctorius and 50 grams of Acorus gramineus, soak them in Chinese liquor above 60℃, filter the liquid medicine after 7 days, and apply the liquid medicine to the unhealed chilblain 3-4 times a day.

Treatment 7: Take 50g of Ramulus Cinnamomi and 50g of Perilla frutescens, add water and soak the affected area 3-4 times a day.

Treatment 8: 3-4 slices of fresh orange peel, 300g of ginger and 2000ml of water are decocted for 30 minutes, and the residue is taken out, soaked and covered with the residue.

Treatment 9: Take 50g of oleander leaves, add 500ml of water, and soak the affected area with decoction. Pay attention to this prescription when you have an ulcer.

Treatment 10: Crataegus pinnatifida is pitted and mashed, applied to the affected area, and bandaged with gauze for 3 days, which has a good effect on recurrent chilblain, and is contraindicated in case of ulcer.

Treatment 1 1: 9 grams of kansui, 9 grams of licorice, 2000 ml of water, decocted soup and smoked the affected area.

Treatment 12: decoct 20g of Ramulus Cinnamomi, 20g of Carthami Flos, 20g of Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, 20g of Herba Schizonepetae and 20g of Folium Perillae, add 3000ml of water, soak the affected part in the decoction, and rub the affected part with the residue.

Treatment 13: Erwu fennel wine: radix aconiti 30g, radix aconiti kusnezoffii 30g, fennel 30g, camphor 30g, safflower 20g, cassia twig 15g, soaked in alcohol for one week, and rubbed with medicinal liquor.
