Umbilical cord inserted from the edge of placenta is called racket placenta.

(1) Racket placenta usually does not cause umbilical cord rupture during pregnancy, nor does it affect the baby, so pregnant women need not worry too much. However, it should be noted that the umbilical cord will be easily compressed during delivery, leading to hypoxia, ischemia and suffocation of the baby. Therefore, it is necessary to have a checkup on time before delivery, so that doctors can know the situation and decide the mode of delivery.

(2) If the blood supply of the racket placenta is not good, it may affect the embryonic development. Therefore, it is suggested that pregnant women stay in bed on the left side, pay attention to fetal movement, check regularly, and remind doctors during delivery to avoid excessive umbilical cord involvement and umbilical cord rupture.

(3) It is recommended to eat more fruits and vegetables and exercise properly.
