The problem of shooting night scenes with D3 100 and the problem of blurred photos.

It seems that your shooting skills have not yet begun. Night shooting consists of five elements:

1, focal length; This is my own composition adjustment. I can shoot as far as I want. Generally speaking, the shooting scenes are wide-angle.

2. Depth of field (aperture size); Generally speaking, the shooting of scenes requires a deep depth of field, so the aperture should be reduced, generally between F8-F 16. Moreover, the best performance of 18- 105 is also in the range of F8-F 1 1.

3. Shutter speed; This value is very important for whether the film fits. In the case of hand-held shooting, there should be a concept of safety shutter, which is 1/ focal length. For example, the safety shutter at the end of 18mm is118 seconds, and the shutter speed is faster than this value, which basically guarantees no film pasting. The actual performance of anti-shake function in low light is not ideal and can be basically ignored.

4.ISO sensitivity; Don't be afraid to improve ISO sensitivity. There is a joke in the industry called "All good films are funny". What's wrong with ISO 1600 or even 3200 when shooting at night? Noise is better than paste.

5, sloshing rate; The reason why your photo is blurred during the day is that the shake rate is high or the anti-shake function is not turned on, and the shutter speed does not reach the safe value. I believe that if your shutter speed is faster than1125 seconds, the focal length of 105mm will not paste as long as it is not Parkinson's disease. Finally, the tripod problem. Don't think that using a tripod is necessarily safe, especially when using a telephoto. For example, if you use the 105mm end, the tripod has an important bearing, and the bearing and locking strength of the tripod head should be excellent. Otherwise, it will shake badly because of organic shock, wind and other factors. Take 18- 105 casing as an example. 105mm end frame has a maximum bearing capacity of at least 5 kg, and Yuntai has a maximum bearing capacity of at least 5 kg. 200mm telephoto needs at least 8 kg of pan/tilt and tripod, and 300mm telephoto needs at least 12 kg of pan/tilt and tripod. The above requirements are in good natural conditions and under the premise of strong locking force of Yuntai. If there is wind outside, it is necessary to increase the load of the tripod and enhance its stability. In order to avoid some vibration in the shooting process, the photographer will also use "2-second selfie mode", "cable release" and "reflector pre-lift" and other means.

In night shooting, the shutter speed is generally slow, so high ISO, camera stability and large aperture can ensure that the film is not pasted.

Don't worry about white balance, just auto white balance. The metering system of D3 100 is not strong. The light at night scene is general light, and the color gamut is only 70% of natural light at most, and the white balance is adjusted like that.

(By the way, upstairs correction, D3 100 is the photosensitive element of COMS, which is quite good in high sensitivity and noise control. )
