At night, my husband and two brothers-in-law slept together in the hall, because they woke up untimely from their sleep and ate like children. The family eats tasteless and sleeps uneasily, and there is nothing they can do to watch them suffer like this. Grandpa left half a year later, and grandma left a month later. In the last month, grandma had to use morphine to relieve the pain. Everyone is getting old at once, and my husband's hair is all white. After witnessing the life of five old people in their later years, they were accompanied by a large group of children. Like our generation, there are not many children, and we really can't stand the toss. We should try our best to take care of ourselves, and we must repeatedly emphasize that we must prevent falling when we are old! She said that her father loved her the most, and she had nothing to repay. She could only try her best to take care of her father and let him leave safely.

After her father died, she became old and her hair turned white. In order to take care of her father, she fell ill. When I saw her again and looked at her haggard and old appearance, I suddenly felt very sad.

An aunt who is a housekeeper also told me a story. She goes to a house to clean every week. The master is an old man, paralyzed, senile and unable to speak. It was the old man's son who asked her to clean. The old man's son comes once a week to buy a lot of nutrients and fruits. The old man's son hired a care worker to take care of the old man.

Every time my aunt went to clean, she saw the nurse lying on the sofa watching TV and eating fruit in her mouth. Because the old man can't talk, he put a crutch on the bed. When he wants to eat, he will beat the bed board with a cane. When the nurse hears the sound, she will go into the old man's bedroom to feed him.

However, it is still good for nursing workers to face the elderly in front of their sons. When my son left, he basically didn't go into the old man's bedroom. The old man's bedroom stinks. She wears a mask every time she cleans. The old man's son basically didn't go into the old man's bedroom, so he sat in the living room, put down his things and asked about the care of the old man for only half an hour.

Once, the old man knocked on the bed board for a long time, and the nurse was lying on the sofa watching TV and drinking milk. Aunt cleaning couldn't help asking the nurse, why didn't you give him food? The nurse said that if you eat too much, you will pull more. He is too dirty to starve to death. Aunt cleaning is very sad, but there is nothing she can do.

Not long after, the old man's son called his aunt who was engaged in sanitation, saying that his father had passed away and there was no need to engage in sanitation.

The above two stories are just a microcosm of many patients with Alzheimer's disease. Modern people are under great pressure in work and life, so it is unrealistic to expect their children and grandchildren to provide for the elderly. If our country can give special care to this kind of old people, set up a special ward in the nursing home, which is supervised by the civil affairs department personally, and part of the funds are allocated by the finance, the old people who live in can pay part of the pension expenses with their own pension. After professional training, the nurses here know how to care for such elderly people. Nurses are well-organized, well-paid, honest, kind to others, respectful to the elderly, and hard-working, so that the elderly can leave with dignity and cleanliness in the last time, enjoy the warmth of being taken care of, and be cared for like children.

However, the ideal is full and the reality is very skinny. Many nursing homes are dissatisfied with the food and care for the elderly. The father of an old neighbor of mine has Alzheimer's disease and hemiplegia. His family has to work and pick up the children.
