Why is the left ear more sensitive to sweet words than the right ear?

Sam Houston State University conducted a study in which 100 men and women were invited to participate in the test. During the experiment, volunteers were required to wear headphones. Through headphones, they heard different sets of words in their left and right ears. Each group of words includes an emotional word and a neutral word. Both words have the same syllable length. They are read simultaneously in the left and right ears, and the tones are devoid of any emotional color. Which word appears in the left ear and which word appears in the right ear is random.

After hearing these words, they write down the words they heard before. Test results show that emotional words such as love, kiss, and passion heard from the left ear can be distinguished and remembered by more than 70% of people. But when they heard the same words with their right ear, they remembered only 58% of the content. Therefore, people believe that sweet words spoken into the left ear of a lover can capture his heart more. In the study, scientists also found that the left ear is more receptive to jokes and anecdotes than the right ear.

?Because the right brain controls the nerves and organs of the left brain, sweet words belong to the right brain, so it is easier to say to the left ear. So, is this really the case? The right-brain's emphasis on emotion does not mean a loss of rationality. The division of labor between the left and right hemispheres is independent and at the same time overlapping.
