Guo Baochang was sentenced to three years' imprisonment and assigned to a farm for reeducation through labor. Tian Feng, who always admired him, committed suicide because of his criticism. In the turbulent years that followed, Guo Baochang was sentenced to life imprisonment.

It's hard to get through that difficult time. At 1980, Guo Baochang regained her artistic life in the new period. The dream that burned in his heart for many years once again urged him to pick up a pen and write down this story that has been surging in his heart for many years. However, this manuscript was once again burned in the hands of his wife, which was accompanied by the end of Guo Baochang's first marriage.

For more than ten years, Guo Baochang has been reluctant to contact the creation of "Da Zhai Men". However, fate likes to play jokes on people and always turns around inadvertently. 1994, with rich experience in film and television drama shooting, Guo Baochang remembered this story again, and finally felt that he couldn't bear to give up, so he picked up the pen again and started his fourth creation.

At this time, he is 54 years old and has the reputation of the best screenwriter and senior director. Time means wealth and opportunity. But for the creation of Dazhaimen, he resolutely refused all invitations and closed it for 8 months. Finally, the fourth draft of "Da Zhai Men" was presented perfectly.
