One-time living allowance for migrant workers refers to migrant workers who have worked continuously in the employer for one year as contract workers, and the employer has paid unemployment insurance benefits for them for more than one year. If the labor contract expires or the labor contract is terminated in advance, they can receive one-time living allowance.

One-time living allowance is a kind of unemployment guarantee for the insured migrant workers. Specific subsidy standards shall be formulated by the governments of provinces and municipalities directly under the Central Government. The subsidy standards in some provinces are the same as those in unemployment insurance benefits, but the regulations in different provinces are different. Article 21
