Rongcheng's Nostalgic Prose

one

A city, a complex; A period of time, a lifetime memory. I miss Rongcheng not only because of its simplicity, but also because of its deep affection. Its mountains and rivers, its architecture, its market, as well as its sadness and laughter left in Rongcheng, emerge in front of my eyes from time to time, bit by bit, like a dream, stuck in my heart.

I first came to Rongcheng twenty-five years ago. In September of that year, after the fierce battle of the college entrance examination, a Shanliwa, who had never been far away, took the train from Sanming to the provincial capital with a beautiful vision and a desire for knowledge. In this strange and noisy city, she felt a mighty wave. The night in the city will never be quiet. At two o'clock in the morning, the lights are still flashing everywhere. Far from my parents and hometown, standing alone in the wide railway station square, the passengers coming and going around are irrelevant to me. The excitement and excitement in the journey were instantly replaced by fear and helplessness, and the cool breeze blowing slowly made my body feel a little chill in vain. I have no intention of enjoying the wonderful night view. This city is so big that I don't know where to go.

Deep in the alley, a thin middle-aged woman led me into her hotel, and the dim light vaguely shone on the furnishings in the room. Pieces of moldy and black walls are falling off, four double-decked iron frames are rusty, several broken mosquito nets are floating in the cold wind with the initial gust, and the holes, large and small, are stained with blood and covered with filthy rotten quilts. To be exact, it is more like a shroud. It turns out that this city is not as perfect as I thought. There are flowers everywhere, singing at night, and there is also a dim and embarrassing side in the corner. But anyway, I have a place to stay tonight.

The first time I went shopping was with a classmate who also came from a mountainous area. According to the recommendation of predecessors, Dongjiekou Scenic Resort Scenic Area is the most prosperous business district in the provincial capital and an ideal shopping place. Unnecessary and unnecessary consideration, we took bus No.20 and went straight to Dongjiekou Scenic Resort Scenic Area. The bustling scene of Dongjiekou Scenic Resort's scenic spots really opened my eyes. The endless stream of people, noisy and violent music, dazzling merchandise in department stores and the rich commercial atmosphere of the city make people dizzy. When I boarded the footbridge at the crossroads, I felt like a three-year-old urchin, playing up and down several times. This reminds me of a commonly used word "mountain monkey" in my hometown, which is specially used to describe people who have never seen the world. I am glad that this "monkey" finally walked out of the "mountain" and saw today's "big world".

My heart wanders in my dream, and my steps stretch in the street. Unconsciously, I have been far away from the scenic spots in Dongjiekou Scenic Resort. I looked up for a street sign and was already in Chating Street. Quickly find the traffic map of the province that you carry with you and find out the return route. "Up north and down south, left west and right east", the method of reading pictures that I usually know by heart has gone wrong at this time, and it is more and more wrong to follow the map. When you think about it, it's just the opposite. No wonder you are getting farther and farther away from your goal. At this time, I suddenly realized that those scholars who are good at "talking on paper" have missed many national events.

With the simplicity and simplicity of the mountain people, I felt the pulse of the city for the first time, and prosperity and obscurity coexisted. Walking in the noisy street, my eyes began to blur. I wonder if the green mountains and green waters in my hometown can match the reinforced jungle in the city. I yearn for this city, but on the way to see it, I almost lost my way, but I know I am approaching it slowly.

two

Farewell to the rough and heroic mountains, away from the fragrance and romance of the countryside, a pair of feet that have just been washed away from mud stumble into the rhythm of the city. My adaptation to Rongcheng is beyond my expectation, perhaps because I am young and good at accepting new things. In less than half a year, I have been able to walk leisurely through the streets of Rongcheng, and Rongcheng seems to have accepted me as a student from a remote mountainous area.

I don't know the streets of Rongcheng, but I like to walk through them. Most of the alleys in Rongcheng are paved with long bluestone slabs, which are flat and thick, simple and cordial. The alley is deep and there are footsteps everywhere. When I stepped into this long and narrow passage, a feeling of crossing historical time and space came to me. Although I can't remember the names of these alleys, I am still moved by their simplicity and elegance. This famous city with a history of more than 2,000 years is full of rich cultural landscapes, and every brick and tile seems to have a touching story. Looking up at the blue sky above the alley, stroking the thick wall beside you, feeling the ancient and eternal rhythm of "three squares and seven lanes" and marveling at the shrewd and superb design and architectural level of the ancients, this is undoubtedly a valuable wealth for future generations.

Deep in the alley is a harmonious and beautiful scene, and the leisure of adults is very emotional. Under a tall and dense banyan tree and beside a clear inland river, you will inadvertently see a group of leisurely young and old people get together, or play chess happily, or play strings vividly, or walk into the theater with full expressions. Although I don't understand Fuzhou dialect, I know that they are performing Fujian opera, which is deeply loved by local people and is a valuable spiritual wealth for adults. They used this most popular way to inherit and popularize Rongcheng's Millennium civilization. Therefore, in an open space in a residential area, sometimes dozens or even hundreds of people can be seen singing in chorus, so it is not surprising that men, women and children are singing loudly.

Rongcheng is a city that pays attention to culture. It not only has exquisite masterpieces such as "three pavilions and seven lanes", but also breeds a generation of elites such as Bing Xin and Lin Zexu. Its cultural elements are everywhere in life, and even the street snacks, which are very inconspicuous, still have its unique flavor. Whenever I wander in the depths of the alley, I always like to go to a food stall and ask for a bowl of mixed noodles, or cut a few pieces of braised beef and taste it slowly. This is the original flavor of Fuzhou, which is not enjoyed in high-end luxury hotels. To this day, I still miss these snacks in Rongcheng. Their muscles are enough for me to chew for a lifetime.

There are often some unexpected scenes in the streets and alleys of Rongcheng, so that you can harvest unexpected scenery. I like winter in Rongcheng, because it is never cold, which makes me less worried about buying winter clothes. However, in the midsummer, the enthusiasm of Rongcheng seems to be uncomfortable, and the heat wave is blowing head on. The whole city is like a heating stove, and the air is filled with suffocating heat, so the streets and alleys of Rongcheng have such a strange landscape. At that time, the living conditions of ordinary people were limited, and only a handful of families could use air conditioning at home. The residents in the alley can't stand the heat in the house. In the evening, they moved the trampoline outside, put on mosquito nets and shook the cattail leaf fan to let people enjoy the cool and rest inside, which made me a poor student from a remote village really curious and surprised. No wonder Rongcheng has the second highest temperature in the country in summer, even worse than the famous "four stoves".

Everything in Rongcheng is so fresh to me, just like a child who hasn't played enough. I can't wait to see enough glorious scenery in one day. On weekends, whether I travel with my classmates or go out alone, whether it's the scenic spots in Dongjiekou Scenic Resort, the bustling business district like Taijiang, or the outer suburbs like Jinshan and Hongshan Bridge, I try my best to go for a walk. I don't want to keep myself idle. I am happy to enjoy the customs, history and culture of these places. Every time I go, I feel that my heart has been enriched again.

three

I have long heard of Rongcheng's "one lake, two towers and three mountains", with beautiful scenery and profound cultural heritage, which has attracted the attention of many tourists from inside and outside the province. Among them, West Lake, Yushan and Wushan, which are located in the urban area, naturally become my first choice for weekend play.

Yushan Park is located in the center of Rongcheng, next to Wuyi Square. According to legend, the nine brothers of Hejia in Han Dynasty came here to make an alchemy and cultivate immortals, so it is also called Jiuxian Mountain. It is also said that during the Warring States period, there was a "Yu Yue Guo" here, so the mountain was named "Yu Shan". Holding the ancient city wall in front of the park and climbing straight up, overlooking the bustling city, colorful thoughts often make me feel deeply. At that time, it used to be a solid barrier to guard the south gate of Rongcheng, but it failed to play a role in the war against the invasion of foreign clusters. "Ma Jiang" fought bloody battles in the Gulf during World War I, and suffered foreign aggression. The rusty iron cannon on the Yushan Fort tells the story of that terrible time, and now it has become an antique and decoration for tourists to take pictures as a souvenir. I don't know how a generation of national heroes respected in the "Qigong Temple" sighed in the spirit of heaven. I only hope that the motherland will become stronger every day and be awesome in all directions.

When I entered the park, I first saw the "mummy" preserved in a glass coffin for thousands of years. The shriveled and wrinkled body made me sick. However, the outdoor ballroom in the park is very fresh. I just learned a few dance steps and stepped onto the dance floor at the invitation of my classmates. It really feels a little bold to think about this. Once I walked out of the ballroom and went straight into the video hall next to me. I wanted to indulge myself for one night, but I saw the video in the middle of the night and suddenly broke into a group of armed police. They must be looking for a criminal. Although they didn't scare me, they lost the mood at night. I wonder if this kind of thing often happens in cities. I hope it will be safe every day.

Another place that college students often go to is Wu Shan. Wushan Mountain, also known as Wushi Mountain, Shewu Mountain and Daoshan Mountain, is located on the west side of Nanmendou in the center of Fuzhou, and is as famous as Yushan Mountain and Pingshan Mountain. Wu Shan has been a famous scenic spot in Rongcheng since the Tang Dynasty. Among the three mountains, Wushan has the best scenery and is called the first of the three mountains. Wu Shishan is rugged, with grotesque rocks, quiet forests and valleys. Its natural shape is very simple. However, one thing happened in Wu Shan Park, which makes me feel ashamed. In the semester near graduation, under the unified arrangement of the school, I took my students from the internship class to the park to clean up and carry out the activity of "learning from Lei Feng to do good deeds". The students were doing their homework in full swing, when suddenly a middle-aged man ran over and tore off the class flag angrily without saying anything. I hurried to ask what had happened, and the man told me angrily that a student had stoned the tiles on his roof. I looked in the direction of his finger, and sure enough, there was a brick house halfway up the mountain. On the roof, I can clearly see a tile cracked by a stone and a fist-sized stone lying next to it. I wanted to do something good, but I didn't expect such a mistake. I quickly apologized to my host and said that I finally got rid of the other side's anger and got the League flag back. Good things stay indoors while bad things will go far away. When I got back to school, my classmates knew about it and were treated as jokes. This should be the most embarrassing thing during my internship.

Fuzhou west lake park, located in the northwest of Fuzhou, is a business card of Rongcheng. The park, with its lush four seasons and numerous lakes, is the most well-preserved classical garden in Rongcheng so far. Although its beauty is not as good as Hangzhou West Lake, it is also the brand and symbol of this city. Now that you're here, you shouldn't miss it. Boating on the West Lake is the happiest moment. Ten yuan for a boat ticket is a bit extravagant for a poor student like me, but it is a meal fee for several days. But occasionally, I will invite a good classmate to play in the water, bathe in the scorching sun and strong wind, wander the beautiful scenery in the lake and swim in the fish scales. Who can say that saving a few meals is not worth it? At that time, the water in the West Lake was very clear, and you could see your own shadow in the water. Flocks of carp spit freely, and the fish have long been used to the fun of mermaid swimming. When the weather is good, there are residents with good water quality or park rangers around to plunge into the bottom of the lake. When they appeared, they held one or two mussels the size of bowls in their hands, shining like victory flags. It's really touching to see such scenery in the metropolis.

With cheerful steps, you can see the lakes and mountains of Rongcheng, and the years of youth March forward in songs and grow up in dreams. Although I can only leave the shadow to the city in my heart, it still expands the narrow mountain road I walked through.
