Food, color and sex. Why? What do you mean?

"Eating color is also" is often mistaken for what Mencius said. In fact, although this sentence comes from Mencius Gao Zi, it was not said by Mencius. Gao Zi, a young philosopher, was very dissatisfied with Mencius' view of "good nature" and went to the door to argue with Mencius. In this process, Gao Zi said, "Eating is also sex", which means that appetite and sexual desire are human nature. For this debate about the nature of human nature more than two thousand years ago, it doesn't really matter who wins or loses in the end. What is important is that this sentence was publicly recorded in the Confucian classic Mencius, and it has since become a classic of the ancients about the nature of appetite and sexual desire.

Dr. Zhang Jingsheng, the elder of my hometown (Fubin Darongpu, Raoping County), was notorious for publishing "The History of Sex" when he taught in Peking University in his early years. 1948 or so, when I have nothing to do in my hometown, I opened a column in Shantou Daguang newspaper and wrote new food classics. Doctors are always sex doctors. " Guangqing is a supplement to Current Affairs News, which is a national newspaper, although its headquarters is mainly in Shanghai.

Even so, we can't assert that the new food classics published in Daguangbao are the old works of the doctor. There is a quote in the New Food Classic: "Take my old gentleman as an example today. I am sixty years old, but I can walk dozens of miles every day ... so it can be said that sixty is still equal to thirty. Tell a joke, if my wife allows me, I can still marry and have children. " The doctor was born and died in 1888 (1970), and the age of 60 should be 1948. Food Book has been published in New Food Book for more than ten years. It is also possible to make some big additions and deletions when modifying old works.

The New Food Classics is rich in content, including the revolution of food and medicine, food and sports and endocrinology, food and temperament and lust, hunger strike and spiritual diet, the use of salt and water for the hungry, and the fundamental recipes of vegetarian fruits and foods. And the appendix is also a preliminary food gift.

On the issue of the relationship between food and color, New Food Dictionary puts forward some bold conjectures, such as that food is related to people's temperament and lust. White people in Europe and America eat meat for three meals, so they have a bad temper and smell like wild animals. Even sexual intercourse can't last. Orientals who are mainly vegetarian are relatively calm, and because the food contains more fiber and is tough, not only sexual intercourse can last, but also the taste is very clean. "Vegetables and fruits are delicious and make people close to ecstasy (he takes ChristianRandPhillips as an example)."

The New Food Dictionary also absorbed the new achievements of nutrition at that time, put forward the idea of scientific diet, and even listed the contents of vitamins in some foods, which was unprecedented.
