If it is a circle of incense, you should point to the Buddha where it is lit, and your hands are like holding a long incense.

If you put sandalwood (that is, the twig split by sandalwood), you should hold both ends of the incense with your thumb and forefinger, with your middle finger, ring finger and pinkie open and straight, hold Qi Mei high, and put it in the incense burner before and after; The first sandalwood is picked up with the left hand and sent in with the right hand; Pick up the second branch with your right hand and send it in with your left hand; The third one is the same as the first one. Why do you have to make two wishes when you make a wish?

The so-called wish, in a narrow sense, is to pray for the protection of the gods and let your wishes come true. What you ask is nothing, just money, color, food and so on; Have something to say to the god you are looking for. Taoism is a polytheistic religion, and its belief system is extremely complicated. But there are 365 straight gods, and God is in the right place. Every god has a full-time job, such as the old moon fairy who is in charge of the marriage between men and women, the man who is in charge of the financial resources of the world, Zhao Gongming, the god of wealth, Mazu, the goddess of navigation, and so on. If you wish before God, you'd better find the right fairy and the right way. Otherwise, it will not only make jokes, but may even lead to the phenomenon that the loss outweighs the gain.

Before making a wish, it is best to bathe your body, fast and clean your mouth, worship three incense before God, then bow down before God and pray devoutly, acquiesce in your wishes, pray for God's protection and realize your wishes. Wishing can be big or small, not limited to form, and there are many good deeds, such as chanting scriptures to do Dojo, offering sacrifices to gods, reshaping the golden body, helping to print good books, donating money to repair the concept and so on. After asking for God's protection to realize your wish, whatever promises you made when asking for God's protection must be fulfilled.

Those who want to enter the Taoist temple must buy three products, mostly five products, and the number of the same dishes is five. Snack fruit is usually five or seven pieces, and it doesn't need to be doubled. Then buy a handful of incense, as much paper as you want, and buy a candle and a string of firecrackers (depending on whether the place can be set off).

When you get to the main hall, that is, the main hall in the Taoist temple, any temple you wish at first can be used. First of all, we should find the temple master on duty, offer sacrifices, then burn incense, then burn paper in the paper melting furnace, and finally set off firecrackers (see if the place can put them). The vows are generally good things that people think or things that gods like, such as rebuilding the golden body, becoming a vegetarian, releasing people, sending scriptures and so on. What you ask for means that you are protected by the gods. Burning incense to tell them and fulfilling your promise is called thanking or repaying God, and the people also call it wishing.

Many people say that this behavior is not a bribe. Do the gods above need human bribes?

Don't! What is a fairy? God is upright and wise; The fairy is quiet and empty. Where the gods are, they are naturally not bound by mortal dust, so they don't care about any melon and fruit sesame oil. But believers are willing to repay God, which is a manifestation of wisdom and etiquette.

Secondly, there are many dharma gods in the temple. They are abbots, protecting the Dojo and accumulating merits in order to ascend to the Holy Land. They upload and distribute, and when they are tired of running around, they also want to offer incense. In short, making a wish is a ceremony of thanking people after making a wish, especially the promise made when making a wish. Once your wish comes true, you must hurry to make a wish, otherwise there will be a lot of trouble, remember!

After making a wish, you still need to rely on your own efforts to realize it.

3. Try to provide the goods when you want; Don't be greedy, but do business with the mentality of burning more incense and offering more flowers and fruits to express gratitude. Generally, 3-5 kinds of offerings such as fruits and biscuits in the season are prepared, but they must be singular (because the singular is positive); If you want local permission, you can also prepare incense and gold paper. Remember that donating eggs is also incorrect. Eggs are eggs that give birth to all beings and cannot be used for offering Buddha.
