What kind of psychology is it to like a person but appear indifferent on the surface?

This is a kind of protective psychology, because we are not sure whether the other party is reliable, and whether the other party can give themselves a sense of security mainly comes from distrust of the other party, or that they are not familiar enough. Once they get to know each other and get familiar with each other, if they think the other person is trustworthy, they should be indifferent, unless the other person has never been trusted by this person and has no sense of identity, then they will always be indifferent.
