However, the research and development of nib steel is a difficult problem. In order to make the pen tip, many special trace elements must be used to adjust the steel to achieve the best performance. Small changes in the proportion of trace elements will affect the quality of steel. If this ratio cannot be found, the pen-making industry in China will always need to import pen tip steel.

There is no reference data for the development of this product. The proportion of ingredients starts from dozens of kilograms, and how many ingredients are added. This number cannot be counted.

In order to find the secret recipe from abroad, Wang Huimian of Taiyuan Iron and Steel Company must explore an unprecedented steelmaking process. Without any reference, they can only accumulate data, adjust parameters and design process methods.

The inspiration for the breakthrough comes from the daily "dough mixing". If you want to mix the dough moderately, you must add new ingredients. Accordingly, industrial "additives" will also be added to molten steel. Ordinary additives are all blocky. If the bulk material can be thinned, molten steel and additives will be mixed more evenly, thus enhancing machinability.

After five years of countless failures, under the electron microscope, TISCO finally saw the nib steel with evenly distributed additives. 20 14 and 12 were successfully tested twice. After more than ten final tests, the first batch of steel with good cutting performance was finally produced. This batch of stainless steel wires with a diameter of 2.3mm proudly marked "Made in China".

In the testing laboratory of Beifa Pen Industry, the refills produced with TISCO raw materials are being tested to the limit. From different angles, each refill has to write 800 meters continuously, which has been a test of TISCO products for nearly a thousand times.

This is the effect of 800 meters. Is this 800 meters consistent with the original painting, not from deep to shallow, but basically the same, indicating that the uniformity of the water outlet and the wear resistance of the pen tip have basically not changed, so what we use at TISCO now is basically the same as that abroad.
