Fang Cheng, formerly known as Sun Shunchao, is from Guangdong. China is a famous cartoonist, essayist and expert in humor theory. He has always been known as "an evergreen tree in chinese comic", and together with the two old people in the original works, he has always been known as the "three old people" in chinese comic. He used China's unique ink cartoons to draw figures from China folklore and ancient literary works on paper. He was the first person to open a comic book exhibition in China after the Cultural Revolution. He used to be a master tutor in journalism department of Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and honorary president of China News Cartoon Research Association. He has painted more than 30 cartoons and essays, including Fang Cheng Cartoon, Selected Contemporary Cartoons of China and World Humorous Jokes.
