Announcement on Restricting Carrying Liquid Articles on Civil Aviation Aircraft
According to the Announcement of Civil Aviation Administration of China [2007] 1 on Restricting Carrying Liquid Articles on Civil Aviation, from May 1 2007, the Civil Aviation Administration of China will impose restrictions on passengers taking domestic and international flights in China.
The specific provisions are as follows:
1. Passengers on domestic flights in China can carry with them liquid articles (excluding alcohol) with a total amount not exceeding 1 liter (L) at a time, and the excess must be delivered. Liquid articles must be opened for inspection before transportation.
2. Passengers on international and regional flights originating from China Airport shall not carry more than 100 ml of liquid articles.

Baggage declared value
According to the Regulations on Air Transport, if the luggage checked by passengers is damaged or lost during transportation, the carrier shall make compensation according to the maximum compensation limit per kilogram. When the actual value per kilogram of checked baggage exceeds the maximum compensation limit per kilogram stipulated by the carrier, passengers have the right to demand higher compensation, but they must declare the baggage value when checking the baggage and pay the declared value surcharge. If the declared value of luggage is caused by the carrier in transit, the carrier shall compensate according to the declared value of the passenger.
1. When the checked baggage of passengers exceeds RMB 100 per kilogram for domestic flights, US$ 20 yuan per kilogram for international flights or its equivalent currency, the declared baggage value can be applied.
2. The declared value of the checked baggage cannot exceed the actual value of the baggage itself. The declared value of each passenger's luggage is RMB 8,000 for domestic flights and USD 2,500 or equivalent for international flights. Unless the passenger can provide reasonable evidence to prove that the abnormal transportation or extra expenses of small animals are caused by the fault of navigation, otherwise:

4. Transportation conditions of small animals
