For example: For a 30kN tensile machine, the test force measurement range is 0.4~100FS, which refers to the applicable tensile force range (0.4~100)×30kN, and the accuracy requirements are met within this range.

The accuracy levels of testing machines are generally divided into "Level 3", "Level 1", and "Level 0.5", which respectively mean that the error within the measurement range is <±3 (±1, ±0.5). It is not represented by "±?FS".

Assume that for a 30kN tensile machine, "±1FS" is used to express the accuracy. This means that the error of the 30kN tensile machine can be ±0.3kN and is allowed. Well, I am using this piece of garbage to measure a 6kN (full scale 20, this range is often used by testing machines) test sample. The error of 0.3kN is 5. Who would want such a machine? Generally, testing machine manufacturers will give a measurement range of 0.4~100FS. For the same 30kN tensile machine, 0.4FS is 0.12kN. If this measurement value allows an error of ±0.3kN, is it a joke?

Therefore, it is inaccurate to express the accuracy of the testing machine by FS. FS is generally used to indicate the temperature drift, zero point drift and other indicators of the testing machine.
