The goblins in Pansi Cave are seven spider spirits, and they are called the seven fairies. They all use three-foot swords and often become beautiful women to sow dissension and harm people and animals. When the battle is fierce, they open their arms to show their white bellies, and their navel is covered with silk ropes. They used this spell to catch Tang Priest and Bajie, hoping to eat the flesh of the holy monk and live forever.
