Love Letter is a Japanese pure love film written and directed by Shunji Iwai, starring Miho Nakayama, Etsushi Toyokawa and Takashi Kashiwabara. On March 25th, 1995 and 1999 were introduced to Chinese mainland for distribution, and on May 20th, 2002/kloc-0 was released again in Chinese mainland.
The film is adapted from the novel Love Letter of the same name, which tells a love letter that was originally sent to heaven out of grief, but unexpectedly received a reply with the same name and surname, and gradually excavated a story of pure unrequited love that has been buried for many years.
