"It is known that a person's mouth can't listen to anything", a truth that many prostitutes understand. Jin Chuan and Qingwen share the same fate. Jin Chuan was seduced by Baoyu, and only made a joke, so she was slapped in the face by Mrs. Wang. Although she was Mrs. Wang's chief maid and even her confidant, she was eventually expelled and died by throwing herself into the well. At ordinary times, Mrs. Wang called Mr. Jin a "my son" and "my son", but at a critical moment, she didn't give you a chance to explain, and she threw you into eighteen layers of hell. This is the masters under feudal ethics.

It is said in the Book of Rites that "punishment does not respect doctors, and courtesy is not inferior to Shu Ren". Don't think that a scholar-bureaucrat should not be punished because of his high status, and don't think that Shu Ren's low status will not be treated with courtesy. The unequal system of wives and concubines in feudal ethics resulted in artificial estrangement between biological children and biological parents. A daughter can't be filial. She wants to kiss up to her first mother. A concubine can't be close to her parents, because her daughter is nominally a wife and doesn't even have custody. The tragedy of life is that the same flesh and blood can't recognize each other, and Jia Tanchun really loses.

Fourth, you can't marry because you are widowed-Li Wan

After the Southern Song Dynasty, Cheng Zhu's Neo-Confucianism was rampant, advocating that "starvation is a small matter, but dishonour is a big one", and women should be widowed for their husbands. It is said that there was a woman in the Ming Dynasty who was widowed at the age of 2 until she was 7. There was no rumor for 5 years, and the government set up a chastity archway for her. On her deathbed, she told her daughters-in-law the secret of surviving thousands of lonely nights in Qian Qian. This is simply the double destruction of women's body and spirit by feudal ethics.
