Why is Australia relatively poor?

I have lived all over the world, left the United States 48 years ago, and even lived there several times, so I have seen many different places and systems. Anyone who has been to Australia or observed Australia from a distance should know that if we compare different places and systems, Australia is absolutely not bad at any level.

So I'm curious that some people think Australia is poor in every way.

One answer is absolutely correct, that is, Australia's manufacturing industry is "very poor". It abandoned everything, and I was a part of the whole outsourcing to China, which was very unpleasant and led to a poorer country taking care of itself in terms of knowing how and ability. In Australia, dependence is the norm. We live in a lesbian land, where we refuse to admit how fragile we are in the face of almost everything.

We are also not good at accepting other people's money, especially in China. China has bought almost most of Australia and used short-term thinking, including the university system in which Chinese mainland is now dominant in many of our universities.

The way we deal with climate change is terrible, which is shameful. If we pay attention to this, it should be equally obvious to anyone. We need to improve this field.

Although we have made great progress in the past 20 years, our understanding of marginalized people is still "poor".

We are not bad on almost any index, especially compared with other countries in the world.

Our food is of good quality and very healthy. So we are not short of food, but we may eat too much and drink too much.

By any wage index, we are not poor, because we have one of the highest wages in the world, if not the lowest.

At the same time, compared with other countries in the world, our high-end employees earn a lot of money, so we are not trying to make those rich and poor people earn money, but we are actually rewarding them, so even at this level, we are quite good compared with other countries.

Hong Kong's medical and health system is constantly improving. Hong Kong has a strong medical insurance system and is the center of excellence in medical care in Hong Kong.

Our traffic has been rising. Although our train is not as good as other places, especially Sydney, it is still a national joke.

Compared with other places, our roads and infrastructure are very good.

The academic qualifications are good, but certainly not very good, because the requirements for students are not high, and graduation is a matter of course regardless of performance. By global standards, education in China is also very expensive. Private primary education in major cities is dominant, which means parents have to pay a lot of money.

Entertainment is world-class, and everyone wants to come to Australia to perform.
