What funny things did you experience as a child?

Picking up worn-out shoes from the garbage after losing new shoes. When I was a child, my family conditions were average, and my mother finally bought me a new pair of sneakers. I put it on and went fishing in the river with my friends. As a result, the fish didn't touch it, and my shoes were washed away by the river and can't be found again. At first, I cried, but it was no use crying. A few friends helped me find a way to deal with family relations. So I searched all over the bend of the river and finally found a broken shoe, but it was still wearable. Everyone was very happy and discussed to keep looking. It's a lot of trouble. We found a shoe. Although it's not quite the same as the first one, we finally have shoes on our feet and can go home to deal with it. So I went home wearing two rags of different sizes and similar colors. When I got home, my parents bought me the same pair of shoes without saying anything. Later, I learned that I didn't go home most of the day. Some villagers told me that we lost our shoes and found worn-out shoes in the river bend. Maybe my parents felt sorry for me and bought me another pair. It's silly to think about it now. I lost my shoes and was washed away by the river. I still fantasize about finding the same shoes in the garbage. Really naive.
