How are Korean names translated into Chinese?

If you have detailed information, use other people's original Chinese name; Without detailed information, if you can't find the name of a Chinese character, you can find the Chinese character with the same pronunciation in Korean Chinese characters (note that it is Korean Chinese characters, not Mandarin) according to its Korean pronunciation, which is different from the pure transliteration of western names. So the Korean names you see in Chinese materials may be the same as those taken by their parents, or you may not even know who they are.

For example, a person's name is Seo Yeong Cheol, and we don't have enough information to know what his Chinese name is, so we translate his name:

1. How to pronounce Korean characters? (Seo) There are dozens of people who pronounce this sound (for example, all of them pronounce this sound in the western book ...), but only "Xu" can be used as a surname, so we conclude that his surname is "Xu".

2. Read in Korean characters? (Yeong) There are dozens of such voices (for example, Ying Yongying? Rong Ying Swimming Ying Ying Camp? Among these words, English, Yong and Yong are commonly used as names. Let's choose one of these words (transliteration anyway).

3. In the same way, reading? Among the words with (cheol) sound, "zhe" and "zhe" are commonly used as names (this word is not commonly used in China, so it is pronounced as zhe2 in Mandarin). Let's choose between them.

Therefore, a Korean named Xu Yingzhe, Xu Yongzhe, Xu Yongzhe, Xu Yongzhe, Xu Yongzhe and Xu Yongzhe may be translated if we don't know his details but have to translate his name.
