Recently, it was found that the guppy's stomach at home became a little bigger and its excrement turned black. I thought I was ill, so I asked my friends who knew fish to come home and watch. I found out that I was pregnant and gave birth immediately. This is a big joke. Afterwards, my friend told me that there are five signs that a peacock has a small fish:

1, the belly is obviously enlarged.

First of all, the most obvious thing is that the peacock fish will get bigger after pregnancy, and its body looks swollen. When they are about to give birth, the abdomen will become very obvious, and the reproductive hole in the abdomen will protrude to form a sharp corner, which can be clearly observed like a square.

2. Black excrement appears

When the guppy is about to give birth, its appetite may decrease, so the color of its excrement will also change. If you find that guppies have recently started to excrete coarse black excrement, they will give birth to small fish in a day or two.

3. There is phlegm in the anus and stomach.

When peacock fish appears in the upper anus and stomach, it means that it is about to give birth. The closer to production, the darker the placenta will be, usually black. If it is a white guppy, it may be red. You can look closely and see the little guppy in the placenta.

4. Swimming changes

The swimming style of guppies will also change before delivery. You can see the guppy swimming around with a big belly, which is irregular and slow, indicating that the guppy is about to give birth.

5. Self-protection consciousness becomes stronger.

In fact, just like when a person is pregnant, it is normal for a guppy to have a small fish, so it becomes sensitive and not in a good state. They often stay in corners or some secluded places where they can live, so that they can have a better rest and avoid being disturbed by other fish.
