Modern culture is developed, why writing poems is not as good as the ancients?

Because ancient people pay attention to writing poems, but modern Chinese is still not very good at writing poems. After all, the environment is different.

As far as we know, there were two reference books for this kind of writing at that time: Selected Poems of Ancient and Modern Poets by jing yuan, Poems of Spring Mountain by Huang Tao and Poems of Wenchang by Wang Qi. Hehe, today's poets can't get into the poetry world by writing reference books!

In other words, poets with ordinary qualifications in the Tang Dynasty, if they live today, may be writing in modern Chinese to express their feelings, but they are just in a daze. It is difficult not only for modern people to mix in ancient times, but also for the ancients to mix in today. How the poets in the Tang Dynasty got their creativity is particularly important for those who need creativity especially today.

Once the ancients become living people instead of dead people in your eyes, and once the writings of the ancients are no longer just knowledge, they need to be enshrined and sanctified, you will get different feelings in reading and imagination. In today's society, classical Chinese is no longer used as the writing language, but today, when a large number of foreign literature, philosophy and social science works are translated and introduced, we have actually sealed Tang poetry into a shrine.

So how do we seal the Tang poetry into a shrine? It's interesting to say, but it's actually through the large-scale reduction of reading in the Tang Dynasty! Obviously, Tang poetry is too big for us to lift. Today, every one of us (excluding those who specialize in Tang poetry in universities and research institutes) talks about Tang poetry, almost all of which are "300 Tang poems" (plus a few personal poems of Tang poets), not "all Tang poems".

According to the preface of Emperor Kangxi's Complete Poems of Tang Dynasty, "there are more than 48,900 poems and more than 2,200 people". In a word, among all types of poetry, writing poetry is the most difficult, because it requires a person who has read a lot of poetry books to dress up as a villain and resist all sense of disgust, and must write decently and write "where there are feelings".

Every era has its representatives, not that the poems written now are not good, but that the understanding of meaning is different.
