Wang Wei (70 1-76 1), also known as Ji, was a famous poet in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. His official position was as famous as that of Shangshuling, and he was called "Wang Youcheng" in the world. Originally from Qi (now Qixian County, Shanxi Province), he moved to Yongji County, Shanxi Province, and believed in Buddhism.
