Why did Mrs. Huang lie to Zhou Botong?

Huang Yaoshi tried to get Zhou Botong to take out the scriptures and let Mrs. Huang read them. After Mrs. Huang memorized it, she could just go back and write it down silently for Huang Yaoshi to read, but she lied to Zhou Botong and said that the scriptures were fake. She probably did this for two purposes:

1. To provoke Zhou Botong to destroy the scriptures, so that Huang Yaoshi would have the only copy;

2. To provoke the Quanzhen Sect to follow Western drug relationship.

If this is the case, then Mrs. Huang also has evil intentions and is not a good person.

Of course there are changes in the new edition, but Zhou Botong did not destroy the scriptures.
