French Department

The French major of Heilongjiang University was founded in 2002. It was the first French major established in Heilongjiang Province and began to recruit the first batch of undergraduate students in the same year.

In 2011, it was approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council to begin recruiting master's degree students. In 2014, it established the School of Chinese Medicine and Law to jointly train undergraduate students with the top ten universities in Paris, France.

Heilongjiang University has also become the first university in Heilongjiang Province to offer a French major and the first to offer a master's degree in French language and literature.

The faculty structure of the French Department of Heilongjiang University is reasonable.
