On the morning of New Year’s Eve, I followed my father to my uncle’s house to post Spring Festival couplets. When I came to my uncle's house, I couldn't wait to pick up the Spring Festival couplets and wanted to post them, but my uncle wouldn't let me. He was afraid that I would post the wrong couplets. After my mother cooked the New Year's Eve dinner, we served it to the table. We clinked glasses to each other and blessed each other. My third uncle wishes me better grades in the new semester. What the children look forward to most is of course the fireworks. After the New Year's Eve dinner, the children couldn't wait to come to the courtyard and looked up.
