If You Are the One was inspired by Taiwan Province director Chen's film personals. The original intention of writing the script "If You Are the One" is to bring an inspirational and affectionate comedy story to the audience during the Chinese New Year in 2008.

At first, Xiaogang Feng wanted to use a marriage story to unfold the plot, but when Shu Qi joined in, it became a love story. In the end, the main line depends on the love relationship between Ge You and Shu Qi, so what I finished is very different from what I had in mind when I wrote the script.

The inventor of Divergent Terminal is the famous Hong Kong director Peng Haoxiang.
