Why is Miss Duan in The Journey to the West a Guanyin Bodhisattva? Is there any special meaning?

Avalokitesvara, based on great compassion, is the embodiment of Buddhism's great love, whose main business is to spread the spirit of great love, so she performed a scene in which beautiful women love handsome men, which is the most important role for the Buddha to enlighten Xuanzang. Its weapon is the golden hoop of love, but it can be big or small. Love is a kind of bondage and a great power. It was first worn on Xuanzang's hand to symbolize the little love between men and women, and then it was worn on the monkey's head by Xuanzang to symbolize the great love of Buddhism in overcoming desire and obsession (including love).
