This film, from the name to the introduction, to the cast and posters, has nothing to attract me. But after reading it, I was surprised to find that I liked it. But I've read more than a dozen film reviews, whether it's praise or disapproval, and none of them talk about my feelings, so I'll write one myself.

This is definitely not an excellent film. The pictures and lines are basically mediocre and artificial. Many places are full of the temperament of domestic TV dramas and even the Internet. In fact, I don't quite understand why this production can reach the box office level of 2 billion.

But it is not as empty and pretentious as some people say. Many people like it for a reason. This film touches their lives and concerns, and the love and hate in the universe such as Star Wars are obviously untouchable. This is also called grounding gas.

Of course, not all domestic romantic films are grounded. I think the grounding point of this film is not the superficial storyline, but the looming social structure and hidden rules below. On the surface, a pair of lovers broke up because of misunderstanding and anger, and went further and further because of mistakes. Although they still love each other deeply, they can't be together in the end. Many people are really moved by this. But how to make up the story is reasonable. Why not go back together? You can't always say it's all a coincidence, can you? It is not easy to have convincing and alternative logic.

The fundamental problem, in my opinion, is the division of classes, which makes the breakup irreversible. The film is not a social criticism film, which deliberately downplays this point, but there are still many obvious clues that are intriguing.

Starting from sorting out the basic facts, about five years ago, men and women came to a city to live together, and at the same time, men started businesses, and women fully supported men. As a good wife, the man's business is on the right track step by step. When the story officially begins, there are already companies of a certain scale, with an annual income of at least one million, and it is still growing. It can be said that the future is boundless.

On the other hand, the hostess, although the film does not talk about her work and income positively, should be very general in some ways, belonging to the ordinary white-collar class, mostly because she has lived with her boyfriend for a long time and saved a little more money.

On the surface, both sides are handsome men and beautiful women, about 30 years old, and their hobbies and tastes are not much different. But in fact, after years of hard work, the man has infiltrated the top of the middle class and even stepped into the rich class with one foot. At best, the woman is barely middle-class, with an average job and no career. The difference is already obvious.

Why did you break up? The female host has a confession, probably because the male host is busy with work and has no time to accompany him. She felt uneasy and asked for more company and care. The man thinks I'm tired. Why do you still ask for these things? So the contradictions accumulated day by day and finally got out of hand.

This is a superficial statement. The problem with romantic movies is that they have to do what they want. What they really want is not to say. Some film critics say it's about promiscuity. The film has no positive performance, so it can't be taken as a fact. But obviously, the man's life is much better than the woman's. So why can't the hostess resume such a single life in the first place? Or because the basic life requirements of the two sides are different, men are mainly free and happy, and women are mainly stable and stable, which of course cannot be provided by going to nightclubs.

At this time, if the female host is more rational, then the best strategy is to immediately return to the male host who has not completely lost control, eliminate the crisis, even if it is to restore contact in the form of a quarrel like the second female. But emotionally speaking, the performance of the male host aggravated the contradiction and distrust between the two sides, but pushed the two sides farther and farther.

The more profound significance is that after this ambiguous period, both sides have appeared new suitors. In this place, the class difference is very obvious. The female host is surrounded by old classmates who secretly love her, and the spare tire man's face value, social status and economic income are obviously lower than those of the male host. The man is surrounded by the niece of the boss of a big company, Bai, at least a little younger, young, beautiful, well-off and carefree (but the actor selection is not suitable for this person).

This is what I think the film is closest to reality. If the suitor of the female host is also the overbearing president and the rich second generation, the story will immediately evolve into another style. That's the story of how men get back their ex-girlfriends from competitors with better conditions than themselves. However, this is not very logical. Because of her high face value, the female host can also get in touch with some high-class dudes, and it is no problem to play (the film also has a plot), but the age and family background are there, and it is more difficult to communicate on the premise of marriage. If there is no miracle, she is still a spare tire man of the same level.

For the man, although Bai once broke up because he couldn't let go of the woman, he came back later. Even if he doesn't come back, there are still many girls of similar class to choose from after his career grows bigger.

Therefore, it is very interesting that once she knows what happened before, she can come to the hostess to demonstrate without fear. The woman only felt ashamed in front of her and decided to quit completely because she knew that her objective conditions were not as good as Bai Fumei's. The woman's spare tire man did not have a direct conflict with the man from beginning to end. Of course, he is even more afraid to come to the man and tell him to quit, because the conditions are obviously not the same level. If you really want to come, it's death. The only strategy he can use is to take care of the hostess like spring breeze and rain, and tell her that he can give her security and stability.

This is also where I think the man is hypocritical and a little self-deceiving. You know the spare tire man is much worse than you. Will women be fascinated by him? Unless you are bad in bed, it is not far from the point of view of pushing white down quickly. In short, the man does not take any substantive action, and even avoids meeting the woman. In essence, he pushes her into the spare tire.

Therefore, at least part of the man really wants to break up. Not without nostalgia and disappointment, but with different classes. Obviously, the prospect of marrying Bai is more beneficial to his development. There is a line in the movie that I can't remember clearly, to the effect that you are just waiting for the other person to say goodbye completely, so it is appropriate to put it on the man. The hostess is not like this.

Of course, people are emotional animals, so there will still be all kinds of hesitation, reluctance, nostalgia and temptation, which also constitute most of the content conflicts in the film. Finally, the man dressed up as the supreme treasure according to the joke agreed at the beginning. The running agent shouted "I love you" and was knocked down by the security guard, making a fool of himself. I think it's too exaggerated. This kind of behavior does not conform to human sociality.

But please note that this seemingly affectionate gesture is not to save the hostess, but a form of confirming the breakup. If you want to save it, go directly to the hostess and say that the success rate is 95%. It doesn't matter to yell in front of strangers, can't you just tell your ex-girlfriend

A year later, the woman and the spare tire went to another city, got married, and soon had children. The man continues to live a happy bachelor life and continues to have an affair with Bai. If we don't consider each other's nostalgia for the previous five years, we can all live the life we want, but we are already in different classes.

The last scene goes back to the first day of the man's business, when the woman is still penniless. This obviously implies the theme, because from the perspective of pure romantic movies, it is obviously more tearful to go back to the first day when they met, and the power of vicissitudes is stronger. But from the perspective of class differentiation, this is perfect: this is the beginning of all tragedies.
