Believe it or not, we met online. Looking up information on the internet that day, I accidentally entered someone's blog, which is rich in content, with pictures, articles and videos. What caught my attention was his calligraphy, but I saw that his regular script was dignified and dignified, his cursive script was hearty and his official script was lovely and unique. I can't help getting excited. The owner of the blog put these books in a proper place, quiet and full of vitality. He has both profound traditional skills and novel and unique personal understanding. He must be a calligrapher with profound knowledge and high accomplishment. Later, after consulting the information, I learned that his name was Ji Zhihong, and many names were given to him. So I left him a message, "I appreciate your calligraphy very much. Can I talk to you alone? " But not long after, he left his phone number on his blog. I was so excited that I called immediately. At that time, we talked a lot on the phone. Of course, the topic is always calligraphy. We talked about his calligraphy, talked about his current calligraphy style, talked about his experience in calligraphy learning, and agreed to meet again. I was amazed at his unique insights and feelings in calligraphy creation.

A month later, because of calligraphy, we met for the first time in a smoky barbecue stall in the ancient city of Xi 'an. In my impression, he should be an elegant man who leaves a deep impression on people. In fact, the Ji Zhihong I met was very different from what I expected. He is rough-looking, of medium height, generous in character, heavy in alcohol and humorous in conversation. He looks like a Guanzhong man. He has a good capacity for drinking, but I, on the other hand, began to blush after three glasses of wine. I said I couldn't drink, and he smiled brightly and said, "Whatever, I'll do it!" " Have another drink. He smiled and said, "Drink some wine and people will start telling the truth." That's what happened. This time, we had an in-depth dialogue on the soul of calligraphy through the power of wine. It was already 12 midnight before I knew it. I invited him to write in my house, and he readily agreed. Spreading out Xuan paper, I found him full of thick ink, vibrating strokes, and the pen and ink began a poetic dance on the paper, as quiet as swimming fish to get water, as flying dragons in the sky, rising ink and dry pen set each other off and became interesting, and the whole pen was coherent and vivid. This reminds me instantly of Liang Wudi Xiao Yan's description of cursive script in Cursive Script, that is, "If you are ill, you will get lost, and if you are late, you will linger." If you are slow, you are Masayuki; if you are anxious, you are anxious, jumping like a pheasant and jumping like a rabbit. "I finally understand why he loves wine. Li Bai, Huai Su and Zhang Xu, who didn't love wine in all previous dynasties? Drink some wine and everyone will start telling the truth. I remembered what he said again. Calligraphy is the externalization and materialization of the soul, such as monks, and it is a romantic art, such as singers and dancers. Today, here, his writing process is a process of blending techniques and spiritual understanding. After that, our contact became closer and closer, either by phone or by meeting. I call him brother, and he calls me brother. Once, he gave me two beautifully bound calligraphy books, one was his cursive "Song of Eternal Sorrow", and the other was some calligraphy collections in the past. I put it on my desk and read it often, from which I realized a calligrapher's persistence and love for art and got a comprehensive understanding of his calligraphy. He learned all kinds of things at the same time, especially cursive script. He first came to Tang Kai, followed the sages such as Huang Gu, Wang Duo, Zhang Ruitu, Huang Daozhou, Pan Tianshou, Lai Chusheng, and came to the post station of Shanwang and Mount Tai Diamond Sutra. As for cursive writing, it has always been beyond my power. Like a devout believer, I always appreciate and feel with awe, but I dare not play with it from a distance. Brother Zhihong's mastery of this difficult calligraphy art has to be attributed to his unremitting efforts and keen perception for many years. In the process of calligraphy creation, he often writes some Zen words to cultivate his mind and realize Tao with calligraphy. In Zen, the mind is the Buddha, and if there is a Buddha in the heart, you are the Buddha. Brother Zhihong has a different understanding of calligraphy. There is a book in your heart, and the book is your heart, which is the real calligrapher.

Brother Zhihong has lived in Chang 'an for a long time and has been nourished by the ancient capital culture for many years. There is no lack of tall and handsome in the folds of his square brushwork; When the pen hides the front, it is smart and vigorous. The rhythm is cadence, the structure is dense, the melody rises and falls, and the tonality is free and changeable, which makes every note and phrase look more and more interesting. Often a person is either rich or expensive, or has amazing talent. Isn't Zhu Yuanzhang this type of person?

My impression is that Ji Zhihong is an idle person. In the morning and evening, he always wears casual clothes, hangs around his thick neck and wears rosary on his wrist, dressing up as an idle person. Ji Zhihong drinks good wine with his friends. He won't be satisfied unless he drinks a large glass. He always drinks, and his tongue straightens after dinner. Ji Zhihong has friends from all over the world, including tourists, businessmen, government officials and friends in the painting and calligraphy circle. To make friends, his greatest feature is that he likes to help friends. As long as people are on the right track, no matter how difficult it is, as long as there is a glimmer of hope, Ji Zhihong will not refuse, and even if he tries his best, he will go forward. If you can't do something, you must call back and explain the reasons in an orderly way. Please forgive me. Friends say that Ji Zhihong is a loyal and honest person.

Xi 'an has been the capital of emperors since ancient times, and there are many strange people in this world. I didn't expect Ji Zhihong, a free man, to engage in calligraphy. I remember in 2008, we went out for an inspection. Ji Zhihong is a tour guide. At the arrangement meeting a few days before going out, he stood up timidly and arranged his trip in a low voice very slowly. I was surprised at that time. The information envelope sent by the tour guide to the people present was written in cursive script, which most people couldn't recognize, but the writer's handwriting was extraordinary only from the turning strokes. When walking in Fuzhou in the evening, Ji Zhihong chatted with everyone about his hobbies. He said: "loving someone is like falling in love." It's like seeing a beautiful girl in the street. Once you are attracted, you want to push her down the street. Only by reaching this level can you write a good hand. " This sentence shocked four seats. I thought at that time that it must be a slap in the face for such a rogue idle person to write it. However, in the course of traveling, when we saw fellow travelers passing on the Song of Eternal Sorrow written by Ji Zhihong, we lamented that this man was quite capable, at least he practiced Huang Tingjian's cursive script well.

In the morning, I was studying in the study, and the fresh sunshine came in. The study is very bright, and my heart is quiet. Ji Zhihong knocked at the door, chatted for a few words, and then poured ink and spread paper. Ji Zhihong took a pen in his hand, measured the paper up and down, thought for a moment, and then wrote a book. Ji Zhihong's cursive script is not as fluent and witty as some people, but his writing is extremely calm, peaceful and fluent, and he walks like a snake, wet and dry, full of enthusiasm. He likes to write cursive with a dry pen. When the ink is dry, the pen is still running on the paper, forming a flying white, which is in sharp contrast with the thick wet of the next word. The whole picture is messy, but the pen is exquisite, the opening and closing are orderly, the word potential and meaning are in harmony with nature, and the beauty of sound and rhyme is really amazing. Picking up a pen, the stupid Ji Zhihong became a coolie, addicted to books like drinking. It is a pleasure to watch him write, and the audience is often intoxicated by his potential.

After writing the words, he put down his pen and hung the words on the wall. Ji Zhihong lit a cigarette and tasted it carefully. Then I sat down, picked up the copybook, crossed my legs, pointed to the words on the poster and said, "Be single-minded when posting. There is only one post on the desk of ancient calligraphers, and literati also pay attention to the fact that there are no two books on the desk. It's just not easy to drill a post. You do everything, and you are not good at anything. We should not only understand, digest and remember the words on the post, but also understand the author's life, preferences, background, experience and so on, in order to master ... ". Ji Zhihong likes dancing and writing since he was a child. When he was a teenager, he followed the old gentlemen in Xi 'an Book Circle with his bag on his back and ran around the venue. He witnessed the elegance of old calligraphers countless times and was impressed by them for a long time, so that he had a deep understanding of calligraphy since he was a child. This is an opportunity that no one else has.

Ji Zhihong is a very secular person, familiar with the world, always showing the arrogance of the market. He often said angrily that some so-called friends came to him for works, and they spoke casually. "Hammer, you can be worth a few dollars, so get one." Ji Zhihong said to himself, "What a fool! You think writing is a hammer. You think writing is that easy. Don't be busy, take the money first! " So arrogant and sophisticated. He always sneers at some pranksters in the book world. But for those who are really good at it, in my opinion, those who are average in character and works always call themselves teachers and gentlemen, praising their calligraphy and knowledge, which is the kind of awe and respect that primary school students have for the old gentleman.

Ji Zhihong is such an ugly, eccentric and stupid person. He hides beauty in ugliness, shows elegance in coarseness, and sees truth, ignorance and generosity in secularity. I believe that such a powerful and talented person will surely make great achievements in the future.
