What is broadcasting?

The concept of broadcasting is all the activities that broadcast audio and paralinguistic information hosted by electronic media such as radio stations and television stations. The announcer, that is, the program host of electronic media, uses audio language and paralanguage to spread information through electronic media such as radio and television media.

Training objectives of broadcasting major: This major aims to train senior professionals of compound applied linguistics who have the knowledge and ability of broadcasting and television news communication, language and literature, broadcasting science, art and aesthetics, and can engage in broadcasting and program hosting in radio stations, television stations and other units.

The difference between broadcasting and reciting;

1. For the purpose of expression, broadcasting is to convey news, knowledge and ideas to the public. Recitation is not only to convey information, but also to infect, enhance and purify the hearts of the audience with emotional appeal and give them an aesthetic enjoyment.

2. From the main point of view, the broadcaster is the spokesman of the public media, and he is speaking on behalf of the government or a certain group. So he is impersonal, and because his purpose is to convey information, he is an outsider, bystander, narrator and commentator of the event. Recitation is personal, and the reciter is a playwright. He is a narrator and critic in the event, as well as many roles, lyricists and actors in the event.

3. From the emotional point of view, broadcasting excludes personal emotional color, and its emotions are public, typed and bystander. Recitation needs to be integrated with personal feelings, sometimes the feelings of onlookers and sometimes the feelings of the people in the play. At the same time, the emotion of broadcasting is only a keynote expression, while the emotion of recitation is a detailed and concrete changing emotion.
