Teacher, can the word making in this sentence be changed to make?

I mean the ability to have a clear sense of what is important in our life (the happiness of our family, the quality of our interpersonal relationship, making others happy, etc.). )

Making others happy is a noun phrase, juxtaposed with welfare and quality.

Make is changed to making in order to be consistent with the previous phrase.

When used alone, if you directly say to make others happy, it is an imperative sentence
