Then, various preventive measures related to the new coronavirus pneumonia must be continuously forwarded to parents, and parents must be urged to read the replies. I have to keep forwarding various arrangements of the school in the group: creative homework for winter vacation, prevention of gas poisoning, traffic safety requirements, forest fire prevention, lightning protection and disaster reduction... Immediately afterwards, the online class period entered. Sweeping classrooms, mopping corridors, cleaning toilets, wiping tables, disinfecting... carrying the skin of a mental worker, doing all imaginable physical work. I suffered from backache and leg cramps every day. After more than ten days of hard preparation, I finally gathered all the "mythical beasts" on campus.

Enter the campus at 6:40 in the morning and conduct morning inspections on students. Then, organize students to start morning reading. During dinner time, students living on campus can enter the dormitory to fetch water. Those who do not return to the dormitory will be checked in the classroom by the evening self-study teacher. At 6:40, the evening shift starts. Practice calligraphy, read the news, and get guidance. For evening self-study, the substitute team will arrange their own teachers to be responsible for tutoring. From morning to night, seamless connection is implemented. They should not only guide students in their studies, but also be responsible for their health and safety. All students are responsible for each substitute class group. If any problems arise, they will be borne collectively and included in the performance appraisal...

To hold a morning meeting, you must have lecture notes and photos. Class meetings must have courseware, lesson plans, photos, and records. To distribute a mask, you must have courseware, lesson plans, photos, videos, records, signatures... All the previous requirements must continue to be followed, and then combined with epidemic prevention and control, and continue to accumulate. Chinese language classes actually have seven periods per week (one period is called "self-study" by the school). Working hours have changed from five days a week to six days a week.

A few days ago, leaders also instructed that students who were absent during online classes should make up classes. Today, I was shocked to hear the news: the content of online courses must be started all over again. In other words, after being tortured by online classes for more than two months, all we have done is useless?

From the preparations for the start of school more than ten days ago to the start of school for more than a week now, I have opened my eyes wide and tried hard to find the source of happiness in my work.

However, it seems that the spring has dried up long ago. In the office, there is nothing but whining and complaining. On campus, occasionally meeting someone is also a source of helplessness and pain. I don’t know who has stolen everyone’s happiness. No one around me is happy. Recently, my mind has been filled with negative energy. It always feels like the sky above your head is so heavy that you can't breathe. I very much doubt whether I, who will retire in ten years, will survive until the end.
