In fact, the theme chosen by HBO is somewhat confusing; From casting, theme and even film title, there is a lack of popular elements of mainstream TV networks. However, it is those dramas that seem strange that have formed a "cool" brand and popularity: HBO's famous drama sopranos has become a TV milestone that can go down in history; Meloni, one of the stars of Prison Storm, described his experience by saying that he was stopped by a 7-year-old woman in the street and said that he liked his role. Of course, HBO took the original route in the early 198s, which was related to the various competitions and crises it faced at that time. But in OZ, things are different. There are not a few authors who have this idea that "when pigs are fattened, they will kill what they eat", but it is rare for them to carry it out so thoroughly like Fontana. Of course, we have to forgive, in the six-year filming, it is common for actors to have various situations, and it is already a great challenge to make up the plot to match the schedule of these actors. For example, in the first half of the fourth season, Kirk Acevedo (Miguel Alvarez, the character in Oz) went to shoot Brothers Company, and the plot wrote that he escaped; Then he came back briefly for a while, and then he went to shoot something else, so he had to be put in solitary confinement in the plot. How to deal with his play when the actor is away? Some people like Kirk took the previous shots or single shots, and some people like Meloni went to shoot Law and Order: SVU, and then arranged for him to connect by phone. However, there are not many people who enjoy such treatment. Except for the above two, and McManus (played by Terry Kinney) of Em City, others will probably be killed in a similar situation.

Lee Tergeson, the actor who plays him, played a role in the movie Breaking Point before that. Before OZ, he was probably best known for the famous advertising slogan in Budweiser beer. After OZ, he didn't appear much on TV, but recently he appeared on FX. Unfortunately, his most well-known image is Beecher in OZ. In fact, until now, reporters have mentioned his performance in OZ from time to time. Fortunately, Li is a humorous person in reality, so the reporter asked him whether it felt better to kiss his wife or Chris (Chris Keller, Beecher's lover who appeared after the second season). In fact, after seeing the second season, I felt that if I changed to a younger and more handsome actor, the effect might not be good. At least the audience will be more easily distracted. The same principle is repeated in kiss of the spider woman, or, as "A Thousand Faces Girl" said, the real appearance is not important, and it is what makes the audience believe that her appearance is important. since Toby is mentioned first, let's talk about the main reason for his bad luck-ah, outside the law. Vernon Schillinger (prison number: 92S11) was jailed for serious injury, and the leader of Aryan Sect (neo-Nazi Sect) in OZ-a classmate who likes Aryan looks is blessed. Although the blonde forehead is basically gone in theory, those icy blue eyes are real. In fact, of all the characters in the first season, this one belongs to one genus and two makes people look more comfortable. Because of Fontana's interest, the first six episodes of OZ are basically clean, and there is no blood and no positive violence, including the mental torture that Slinger advanced layer by layer, which is also revealed with a smile and carelessness. On the whole, he belongs to that angular appearance. Ah, I seem to have forgotten to say that he has a good figure, too.

another remarkable thing about this boss is that the theme of OZ is the change of environment to people, and if Beecher is the person who has been changed the most by OZ, this man has not changed much. Oh, of course, he has gone back on his word, had a short-term reconciliation mood or acted in good faith, but from the beginning to the end, this man still firmly believes in his own ideas, whether it is unforgivability for drugs, adherence to Aryan ideas or the law of the jungle, or emphasis on family.

If Toby and Slinger are two extremes, defined as 1 and 1 respectively (the scale can be good and evil, normal to abnormal, or novice to old prisoner), then Ryan O 'Reilly can probably fall around 5-6. This handsome boy of Irish descent (the actual actor Dean Winters is Irish-Italian mixed-race) was sentenced to life imprisonment. As the saying goes, he entered the palace twice and was charged with a lot of crimes, ranging from causing and killing people to being investigated for drugs.

OZ is a tiny society, and all the common forces in American society, such as Italian gangs, China gangs, Irish gangs, Muslims, neo-Nazis and so on, are reflected in it. Unclassifiable or vulnerable groups, such as Toby, are classified as alternatives. Ryan, on the other hand, has created a unique living environment: he plays a decisive role during the period when he is free from major gangs, but he can deal with them properly, even at critical moments (such as the turmoil at the end of the first season and the joint efforts of him and Keller to get rid of the new supervisor in the fourth season). Except Beecher, he is the person who shows the highest IQ in the whole play (or Beecher was deprived of the opportunity to show this talent for a long time)-until he did it himself for Dr. Gloria, his hands were not even stained with blood.
