The story of soldiers drinking water

This is a story in the Bible.

Jerubbaal is Gideon. He and his men got up in the morning and camped by the spring of Harud. The camp of Midian is in the plain to the north of them, near Morrigon. And the Lord said to Gideon, The people who are with you are too many for me to give Midian into their hands, lest Israel boast against me and say, Our own hand has saved us. Now therefore proclaim to these men that anyone who is afraid and timid may leave Mount Gilead and go back. "So there are twenty-two thousand people back, only ten thousand people. The Lord said to Gideon, "There are still too many people. Take them to the water, and I can try them for you. I'll show anyone who says' this man can go with you' and he can go with you. If I tell anyone,' This person can't go with you', he can't go with you. Gideon led them down to the water. The Lord said to Gideon, "Whoever licks water with his tongue like a dog, let him stand alone. "Everyone who kneels down to drink water must also stand alone." So three hundred people licked the water with their hands, and the rest knelt down to drink water. The LORD said to Gideon, "I will save you with these three hundred lickers and deliver Midian into your hand. The rest of us can go to different places. The three hundred people brought food and horns. Gideon sent the rest of the Israelites back to their homes, leaving only 300 people. The Midianite camp is on the plain below him.
