This lesson is the last lesson of this course "Dialogue with Yu". Let's learn Yu's speech style-humor. To tell the truth, it is difficult for most speakers, including myself, to make their speeches humorous, because humor is a difficult technology to master. Being difficult does not mean that you can't learn it. All skills can be acquired through deliberate practice. In this section, we will learn the humorous skills of speech.

First of all, let's learn a joke formula, joke = bedding+luggage. Humor in speeches is usually this routine. The front is solemnly paved, and then suddenly there is a sharp turn, which makes you feel funny unexpectedly. For example, Yu Xiansheng said in his speech: Marriage is the grave of love. Many people say so, but think about it a little. If love doesn't have marriage as a grave, that's where death is buried.

This sentence is obviously bedding+baggage. The more serious and normal the foreshadowing in front, the more obvious the humorous impact on the audience when the baggage behind comes. Give another example of teacher Yu. Yu: Once, a little boy ran to me during a speech. He is short. He said that Mr. Yu, a man like me, can't find himself among men and women. I'm too short. First of all, the most common humor in speeches is self-mockery. There is a saying: if you are unhappy, say it to make everyone happy. That's what it means. When you tell your embarrassment, embarrassment or even failure in public, the audience will subconsciously feel a sense of superiority and laugh happily, just like when we see penguins clumsily walking in the ice and snow on TV, we will feel funny because we don't walk like this ghost.
