They have no working capital and lent out all their ancestral houses. At that time, the local government in Chaoshan also gave strong support. They rented a shop in Shenzhen, with a mezzanine above, business below and people living above. Wuchuan people hesitated from the beginning until they discovered that this new continent really contains inexhaustible gold, and they really took a big step. Therefore, in terms of rhythm, Wuchuan people are indeed one step behind Chaoshan people, but this contest has not been won or lost so far. Chaoshan people, with their intelligence and hard-working spirit, have occupied half of Shenzhen's retail industry in just 20 years. From building materials to daily necessities, most of them are run by Chaoshan people. With their traditional handicrafts, Wuchuan people have created their own world in real estate, construction, automobile tires, waste recycling and other industries. A large number of former farmers have become multimillionaires and billionaires in just 20 years.

Unity is the advantage of Chaoshan people, which is known all over the world. The word unity is precisely the weakness of Wuchuan people who are doing business outside. Someone in Shenzhen has said that if there are Chaoshan people doing business in a street, the whole street will soon become Chaoshan people's business. If a Wuchuan person comes to do business, Chaoshan people will move out. If two Wuchuan people are doing business in the street, the two Wuchuan people will close the door. Maybe this challenge came too soon. When Wuchuan people who work and do business outside the home are still thinking hard about countermeasures, Wuchuan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal People's Government have made a decision to set up a foreign chamber of commerce. Before the establishment of overseas chambers of commerce in our city, there were various chambers of commerce all over the country, such as Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce in Zhejiang, Fuzhou Chamber of Commerce in Fujian and Luohu Chamber of Commerce in Shenzhen. However, these chambers of commerce are all voluntary organizations. Only seven overseas chambers of commerce in our city are initiated and led by the municipal party committee and the municipal people's government, aiming at enhancing the competitiveness of overseas businessmen in our city. This is unprecedented in our city and even the whole country. The overseas chamber of commerce was established by Wuchuan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government.

In order to organize foreign chambers of commerce as soon as possible, the Wuchuan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government sent working groups to seven cities to get in touch with Wuchuan celebrities in major cities, and then organized the inaugural meeting. It turns out that the articles of association of the Chamber of Commerce were also drafted by the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal People's Government, and even the naming of the Chamber of Commerce made our municipal government officials attach great importance to it. For example, most people think that the name "Wuchuan Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce" is awkward, because since the Chamber of Commerce is located in Shenzhen, it should be called "Shenzhen Wuchuan Chamber of Commerce", and we thought so at the beginning. However, as a county-level city, it is almost impossible to register a chamber of commerce in Shenzhen. In order to legalize foreign chambers of commerce, it is necessary to set up branches of Wuchuan Chamber of Commerce in seven major cities with the help of Wuchuan Chamber of Commerce. Therefore, the chamber of commerce in Shenzhen is named "Wuchuan Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce", and the names of chambers of commerce in other six cities are the same.

The establishment of seven overseas chambers of commerce is of great significance for expanding the ranks of migrant workers and businessmen, strengthening the radiation of the Pearl River Delta economy to our city and revitalizing Wuchuan economy:

First, it is beneficial for Wuchuan people to integrate resources and change management methods. In the past, Wuchuan people dominated the mountains and fought in their own way, but most of them were relatively weak. Once they meet a strong opponent, they can easily suffer a big loss. After the establishment of foreign chambers of commerce, they can join hands to form the integration of funds, talents and technology, which greatly helps them to be invincible in this cruel business war. This so-called "one pair of chopsticks is easy to fold, and ten pairs of chopsticks keep folding." For example, Wuchuan Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce has set up a Chamber of Commerce Development Fund to support enterprises and individuals in Wuchuan, Shenzhen, and solve their short-term capital shortage problem, which reflects the financial integration of Wuchuan people.

Second, it is conducive to uniting Wuchuan people and twisting them into a force to compete with competitors with group strength. With the increasingly fierce market competition, some enterprises or industries in a certain field will consciously move towards alliances, which makes some industries form monopolies in certain fields, and the possibility of being forced to eat by the weak always exists. Only by uniting can we break the monopoly and defeat our competitors. In Shenzhen and the Pearl River Delta, Wuchuan people have penetrated into almost every economic field, and all walks of life have Wuchuan people's participation. Third, it is conducive to building a communication bridge between the local government of our city and the people who go out to work and do business. In the past, the local government of our city seldom contacted people who worked and did business abroad, so it was very difficult to contact them. After the establishment of foreign chambers of commerce, local chambers of commerce quickly established various communication channels. For example, the Wuchuan Municipal People's Government organized cordial meetings in various places, and the number of people attending the meetings increased year by year. The municipal party committee and municipal government also take this opportunity to pay New Year greetings to people who are working or doing business outside the home, so that people who have been away from home for a long time can feel the affection and care of their hometown people, and at the same time let them know more about their hometown, love their hometown and contribute to the revitalization of their hometown economy.

Now, seven trees carefully cultivated by Wuchuan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal People's Government have blossomed and borne fruit. Wuchuan people who do business abroad have not only withstood the test of history, but also felt the great power of unity. They have strengthened themselves while defeating their competitors. A large number of businessmen have changed their business methods from family to group and from business to industry, and more multimillionaires and billionaires have appeared. They are homesick for water. When they are rich, they will never forget their hometown and the care of their parents. Under the advocacy and call of the "Return Project" of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal People's Government, they actively participated in and supported the economic construction of their hometown and made great contributions to changing the appearance of their hometown.
