Does anyone go out in pajamas? Could it be a joke?

In the street, I have seen people shopping in pajamas, but I don't agree with this practice. I think pajamas should be worn at home and formal clothes should be worn when going out. This is a respect for others and a respect for yourself. If I dress like this, I will feel uncomfortable even if others don't laugh.
