Brief introduction of Huang Yongyu.

Academician Huang Yongyu, academician of China Painting Academy, 1924 was born in Changde County, Hunan Province (now Dingcheng District, Changde City), and his ancestral home is Fenghuang County, Hunan Province. Tujia people. The pen names are Huang Xingbing, Huang Niu and Niu Fuzi. Received primary school and incomplete junior high school education.

Because of his poor family, 12 years old went out to make a living, worked as a child laborer in a small porcelain factory in mountainous areas of Anhui and Fujian, and later moved to Shanghai, Taiwan Province and Hongkong.

Huang Yongyu and his wife Zhang Meixi returned to Beijing from Hongkong on 1952 and were assigned to work in the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He has served as an associate professor, professor and vice chairman of China Artists Association.

Woodcut of Huang Yongyu was published on 1956, and its representative works, Spring Tide and Ashima, once caused a sensation in China painting circles. During the Cultural Revolution, the academic authority accused by the Gang of Four as reactionary was criticized. Later, he was brutally persecuted for drawing an owl in Beijing World Hotel and was sent back to his hometown of Phoenix. After smashing the Gang of Four, he returned to Beijing. Huang Yongyu is good at printmaking, focusing on Chinese painting. His paintings are unique in conception and profound in attainments.

Huang Yongyu taught himself art and literature, and was a "genius" of a generation. His monkey tickets and wine packaging are well known. There are melancholy crumbs such as Six Chapters of Yongyu, Drunken Eight Immortals, Wu Shimang Forum, and Wife Don't Cry, which move along the Seine towards emerald green, sunny scenery and no sad river wanderers. He has painted Ashima, Zodiac Stamp Monkey and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall Landscape Painting. He has held exhibitions in Australia, Germany, Italy, China and Hongkong, and won the Italian Commander-in-Chief Award for his artistic achievements. It enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad.

Huang Yongyu loves his hometown. In recent years, he has traveled all over the world, but he has never forgotten his hometown-the beautiful Phoenix. He believes that hometown is the cradle of one's feelings, and its influence will run through one's life; My hometown is my own bed. Maybe its smell is not good, but it is my most familiar and irreplaceable smell. He wrote in a poem ... my blood type is O, so whoever takes it is suitable. My heart, only my heart, dear hometown, it is yours ... "

On the afternoon of August 3, 2010, Fangfeiyuan, Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, Huang Yongyu was hired as the president of China National Painting Academy. It is not enough to dance with ink, carve wood and cast copper. Huang Yongyu has also set up a giant artwork in the suburbs of Beijing-the "Wanhetang" covering an area of six acres. This mansion, which is completely built according to the traditional architectural structure, is not a simple house or studio, but the largest work of art in Huang Yongyu's life. He personally designed the architectural pattern, as well as tables and chairs, fireplaces, chandeliers and so on. Everything in the house is silently telling the master's extraordinary artistic taste.

The center of Wanhetang is the main hall and his studio, with two courtyards. The East Courtyard is an antique Jiangnan garden-style building complex. There is a big lotus pond covering an area of more than two acres in the middle of the yard. There are excellent varieties of lotus in the Summer Palace and Daming Lake in the lotus pond. Every July, red flowers and green leaves are Huang Yongyu's most lingering days in the lotus pond. What he appreciates most is the spirit of "emerging from the mud without being stained", which will be fully reflected in his experience, his paintings and the Wanhetang in his study. Come out from the back door of Wanhetang, cross the yard, and you will arrive at Huang Yongyu's living room-Lao Tzu's residence.

Is it a bit arrogant to listen to Lao Zi Ju at first sight? In fact, the name was not given by Huang Lao himself, but by General Lv Zhengcao on his behalf. There is another story: when Huang Lao was young, he lived in Quanzhou, Fujian for a period of time. There is a temple near his residence, where there are many magnolia flowers. Once he couldn't help climbing a tree to pick magnolia flowers. An old monk saw it and told him to come down. Huang Yongyu didn't know that the old monk was Master Hongyi at first, but when he talked to the master, he was full of "Lao Zi". Later, it was spread out and became a joke. This time he wanted to name his living room, so Lv Zhengcao mentioned the past and simply called it "Laoziju"! Huang Yongyu is called "Lotus mania", not only because he painted many lotus flowers, but also because the lotus flowers he painted are unique and full of charm. Chinese painting pays attention to "counting white as black", but he insists on "showing white with black" This reverse inheritance not only makes the picture look prominent and colorful, but also looks very heavy and powerful.

Some people think that the essence of Chinese painting lies in the ink landscape, a very elegant temperament that shows the origin of literati, but most of Huang Yongyu's paintings are full of rich colors, so some people once said that his Chinese paintings are not authentic. In this regard, Huang Yongyu said, I will sue anyone who says I am China. Of course, this is just a joke.

Huang Yongyu and Lotus became attached to a nightmare of ten years of turmoil. The lotus flower proudly unfolding is extraordinarily noble, which not only gives him wonderful aesthetic enjoyment, but also becomes his spiritual pillar to enlighten his mind in adversity. Huang Yongyu went to the lotus pond to enjoy the lotus whenever he was free. From capturing with his mind to painting with a brush, he drew more than 8,000 sketches. He described all the gestures of the lotus, and he showed all the amorous feelings of the lotus, including his infinite feelings. In his paintings, lotus is a very stylized theme, but China literati have also painted lotus for thousands of years, and various schools, such as the residual lotus painted by Zhu Da in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, all feel detached. However, the lotus flowers painted by Huang Yongyu give people a feeling that they are not very lofty and born, but a very gorgeous and brilliant temperament. Huang Yongyu joked that where does the lotus grow? It grows from the sludge. What is sludge? The soil mixed with water is called sludge, which is the kind of soil rich in nutrients. It grew from the mother of the earth and later called it sludge, which is called forgetfulness. Zhou Dunyi said that "the sludge is not stained", which is a statement, a statement in a certain situation.

I went to my grandmother's house when I was a child. There is a lotus pond outside the gate of my grandmother's house. What's wrong with little Huang Yongyu? He's naughty. When my grandmother wanted to settle accounts with him, he rolled a high footbath into the lotus pond and hid himself. When I was a child, I was not tall. I watched the lotus as high as the roof. After staying motionless for two or three hours, the frog came and the water snake came. He observed them carefully. There are many mosses and grasses under the lotus, and the relationship between the reflection of that light and the color is very rich. Later, he began to draw lotus flowers, mostly from the perspective of roots, drawing the feeling that grandma gave him in the pond that year.

Now, in the pool water of Beijing Wanhetang, Huang Yongyu has planted all kinds of lotus flowers from Luxiangyue and Beijing. In fact, lotus flowers have been painted for so many years, and the shape and god have long been familiar with each other. Even when sleeping, there are "100,000 crazy flowers falling asleep". Over 70 years old, he has been arrogant, bullying and afraid of hard work, and his eyes are wide open, so he has long stopped watching; Shouting and whistling, crossing the river with a book, exhausted, consciously stepping down.

Old age has come, smoking and drinking tea constantly, not coughing, not insomnia for decades. Fat sausage, pig's feet, beef ribs, epimedium, bitter gourd, bracken, fried Liuyang lobster sauce with lard residue, dried bean curd, moldy lobster sauce and water lobster sauce all like to eat.
