The difference between India and Indonesia

Not the same country, so it is different in any way.

There are differences in land area, economic strength, national beliefs and eating habits. There is a joke about India, saying that some Indians think that India's territory stretches from Pakistan in the west to New Guinea in the east (also known as Irian Island). Pakistan was once a part of British India, which makes sense. New Guinea belongs to Indonesia in Southeast Asia and Papua New Guinea in Oceania, and has nothing to do with India.

The reason for this joke is that Indonesia's name has the word "India", and some Indians think that Indonesia belongs to India. Indonesia has a famous geographical label-the world's largest archipelago country, known as the country of thousands of islands or the country of ten thousand islands. The name Indonesia was not invented by Indonesians, but by Bastian, a German scholar and ethnologist. To sum up, Indonesia and India, both colonialists' names for the eastern colonies, are separated from Wan Li, and there is no direct connection.
